Reminder re setting Mach3 up for metric:

Mach 3 -> Config -> Select Native units = MM is only for motor tuning

BUT still need G21 active per top right of screens where shows toggled modes, ie G20 or G21, G90 or G91 etc

When X & Y are zeroed at the calibration point on the left feeder, max travel is:

X: -15mm, 395mm

Y: -180mm, 200mm

Could:

  • Find out to set soft limits in Mach 3
  • Key these into spreadsheet and have macro check limits not exceeded

Pickup tubes = 5/32 = 3.9688 mm
